Boca Bravo

Boca Bravo

Boca Bravo was not terribly diverse in species but Lance-tailed Manakin, Black-hooded Antshrike, Barred Antshrike, Pale-eyed Pygmy-Tyrant, Yellow-green Vireo, Yellow-olive Flycatcher and Lesser Greenlet were notably common and we were able to get repeated great looks at both, and we found Blue-diademed Motmot and Stripe-throated Hermit again. Beyond the birds, though, the open air bar / restaurant, the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time and the great views of mangroves and islands were a great way to relax for a couple of days.

For a complete list of species seen, see our eBird report for Boca Bravo 9 July and 10 July
